Microbiology Training

Depending on the subject matter, training can vary from being a 20 minute seminar, to being a 4 hour professional development course, or to being a 1 to 3 day hands on training session within a laboratory relating to protocols involving equipment and sample handling. We have a great deal of teaching material that can be customized for your needs.
Presentation topics include mycology; microbiology; mold and fungi classification, physiology, and ecology; sampling and analyses; microbial Indoor Environment Quality (IEQ) and building structure; interesting case studies or research previously performed; ASTM IEQ standards related to methods, practices, and guides involving mold and other microorganisms; AIHA Laboratory Accreditation LLC and ISO 17025 requirements for commercial environmental microbiology laboratories.
In house microbiology laboratory training can include teaching protocols that involve equipment operation; sample handling, preparation, analysis, reporting, storing, discarding; quality control and assurance practices; accreditation requirements; and health and safety practices.
